Have you ever walked down a street and been captivated by the intricate designs of a fence? It might seem trivial, but fences, specifically those made of wrought iron, carry a unique charm that is often overlooked. While wandering around the businesses on Martin Luther King Blvd near the River Street main entrance in the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, a particular fence caught my eye. This wasn't just any fence, but an ornamental wrought iron fence, standing guard around one of the many charismatic businesses in the area. The fence, with its intricate patterns and designs, harkened back to a time when every detail of an establishment was crafted with care and precision, its purpose not just functional, but also aesthetic.

What makes this fence stand out from the rest is not just its old-world charm, but the intricate detail of its design. The ornate patterns woven into the wrought iron provide a stark contrast to the simple, industrial backdrop of the city, making it a perfect subject for a street photograph. Wrought iron has a certain allure that other materials simply cannot match.
